Whole House Rewiring in Luna, NM

What a house rewiring includes

Rewiring adobe and plaster homes around Luna takes patience. We fish wire through attics, crawl spaces, and chases wherever we can, and use surface raceway where solid walls leave no other route. Whole house rewiring cost in Luna depends on square footage, wall construction, access, and how many circuits and devices you want when it is done.

• New grounded cable to every outlet, switch, and light
• New outlets, switches, and cover plates
• GFCI and AFCI protection where required
• Dedicated circuits for kitchen, laundry, and cooling
• Hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
• A new panel sized for the new circuits, if needed
• Removal or abandonment of old wiring
• Permits, rough-in, and final inspections

Signs your home may need rewiring

• Two-prong outlets and no ground wires
• Cloth-covered, knob and tube, or aluminum wiring
• Frequent tripped breakers or blown fuses
• Discolored outlets or a persistent burning smell
• Too few outlets and extension cords everywhere

Whole House Rewiring for Luna homes and businesses

Luna is in the high country of northwest New Mexico, where cold winters, dusty winds, and long rural service runs are part of everyday life. Homes, shops, and ranch properties across Catron County often depend on well pumps, space heating, and outbuildings fed by long runs of cable.

Electric service in Catron County is typically provided by your local utility or rural electric cooperative. For work on the service entrance or meter, we arrange the disconnect and reconnect with them so you do not have to.

We provide house rewiring throughout Luna and in nearby Reserve, Aragon, Quemado, and Glenwood.
