Why Petaca properties call a local electrician

Petaca is in New Mexico's high country. Long heating seasons, snow, and winter storms put steady demand on electrical systems and make outages more than an inconvenience. Older adobe and territorial-style buildings in Rio Arriba County often hide several generations of wiring behind thick walls.

Depending on your address, power in Rio Arriba County typically comes from Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, or Northern Rio Arriba Electric Cooperative. When a job involves the meter or the service connection, we coordinate the shutoff and reconnection with the utility.

We provide retail electrical installation throughout Petaca and in nearby Vallecitos, Ojo Caliente, Tres Piedras, and El Rito.
