Local knowledge for Carlsbad, Eddy County

Carlsbad is plains country: big sky, steady wind, and summer storms that arrive quickly. Wind-blown dust works into outdoor equipment, hail damages exterior fixtures, and lightning surges are a regular cause of failed electronics.

Most properties in Eddy County get their electricity from Xcel Energy or Central Valley Electric Cooperative. If your project touches the meter or main service, we handle the scheduling with the utility.
