Recessed Lighting Installation in Buena Vista, NM

Recessed lighting services

Layout matters more than the number of lights. We space fixtures according to ceiling height and what the room is used for, keep them off the walls enough to avoid harsh scallops, and put them on dimmers. In Buena Vista homes with insulated attics we use fixtures rated for contact with insulation.

• New recessed lighting layouts
• Slim canless LED fixtures
• Insulation-contact and airtight rated housings
• Converting old cans to LED
• Dimmers and separate lighting zones
• Sloped and vaulted ceiling fixtures
• Shower-rated and exterior soffit lights
• Patching guidance where access holes are needed

Where recessed lights work best

• Kitchens and over countertops
• Living rooms with no ceiling fixture
• Hallways and low ceilings
• Bathrooms and showers
• Covered portals and soffits

Recessed Lighting Installation for Buena Vista homes and businesses

Buena Vista is in New Mexico's high country. Long heating seasons, snow, and winter storms put steady demand on electrical systems and make outages more than an inconvenience. Older adobe and territorial-style buildings in Mora County often hide several generations of wiring behind thick walls.

Most properties in Mora County get their electricity from Mora-San Miguel Electric Cooperative. If your project touches the meter or main service, we handle the scheduling with the utility.

We provide recessed lighting installation throughout Buena Vista and in nearby Rainsville, Mora, Rociada, and Holman.
