From 1982 through 1994 National Electric worked at Kirtland Air Force Base, contracting with Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland Air Force Base, Defense Nuclear Agency, Department of Defense, The NM Air National Guard and many other government agencies.

From 1994 to present National Electric continues to work with several government agencies and has since then entered into the private sector market in new construction, renovations, service work and emergency repair.
